The Crown of the Continent

Visit Glacier National Park

For visitors to Glacier National Park, you’ll be close enough to visit the park each day and try different trails, to immerse yourself in the grandeur of towering mountains, meandering rivers, and awe-inspiring views of the rugged landscape of Glacier, the Crown of the Continent.

We are a short 18 mile drive away to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park, allowing an early start to the day.

Northwest Montana

Summer is short but glorious in Northwest Montana. With careful planning, starting from our centrally located cottage as a starting point, you’ll be able to fit in many activities during your stay.

A short drive to the town of Whitefish for great eats, boating, or padding on Whitefish Lake. Try rafting on the Flathead River with many of the river guides located nearby.

If you enjoy skiing or boarding, Whitefish Mountain Resort (Big Mountain) is a short 15 mile drive away from the small town of Columbia Falls, referred to as the “Gateway to Glacier”.

Our guest cottage in Columbia Falls, Montana, offers the opportunity for a couple or small family to enjoy a quiet, friendly neighborhood just a few miles from the park entrance. The cottage offers parking, is fully fenced, and is walkable or just a short drive to coffee shops, grocery, restaurants and amenities nearby.
