In summer, walk to the public beaches in summer (beat the crowds jostling for a spot in the parking lot) Step outside to hiking trails that meander throughout North Tahoe, or pick up some rental gear nearby and enjoy water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding, or boating on the lake. As the sun sets, gather around the BBQ and grill up some dinner in the backyard, sharing stories of the day, ready to do it again tomorrow!

In winter, head out to the slopes early for first chair at Northstar 5.7 miles away, or beat the traffic to Palisades or Alpine Meadows each 15 miles away, just to name a few resorts nearby.
